Yes, that means, YOU, the one reading these words!

Let those words sink into your heart and mind.

Do you know who thinks you are most beautiful?

God, your Father, the One who thought of you and created YOU and formed you in your mother’s womb.  His view of you is the only one that counts!

He has you alive to fulfill His design for you.

Come along as I share with you how these thoughts came into existence this week….

I continue to be fascinated at the ripple effect of each of our actions and choices has in this life.
For me, it is seeing God at work.
Everything is connected and intertwined.

A friend of mine, posted on Facebook, a picture of a way he is spreading kindness this Christmas season that inspired me to think that I might be able to incorporate something similar in my life which I had not done before. He made up homeless care packages to distribute to people in his community.

It just so “happened” that we were running one of our local soup kitchens the next week, so I thought, especially with being the Christmas season, it would be a good way to give the people something to take with them.

I stopped at a store on my way home from work one afternoon.  Observing the busyness all around I decided to head down on aisle to browse for items that I could include in the packages.

All of a sudden, a gentleman appeared kind of peering around me and said, “Can I ask you a question?”

I thought to myself, I bet he is going to ask for money especially because it was a dollar store.

I replied, “Yes.”

He asked, “Are you married?”

I quickly said “Yes”

to which he replied,

“You are beautiful. He is a lucky guy.”

and disappeared just like that.

I admit I was kind of creeped out for a few minutes and felt better when I saw him checkout and leave the store.

As I was relaying the story to a friend of mine the next day, I said to her, “Maybe he was trying to do an act of kindness or maybe he was put up to a dare.”

What is strange is that I saw the gentleman in the distance when I walked in the store, but there were many displays and people all over. I don’t believe that our paths crossed in the store until he approached me.

My friend replies, “Oh my goodness, that’s awesome! He only pointed out what everyone else sees, that you are beautiful!”

And then, “Maybe he was a Messenger from God, an Angel! You never know!”

Her response kind of hit me and made me think more….

Yes, maybe that guy was an angel in disguise…

Maybe it was a message from God….

A message that we all need to be reminded of….

Beautiful because God created you!

Beautiful because God lives in you!

Beautiful because you are created in God’s image and likeness!

Beautiful because God loves you with an everlasting love!

Beautiful because God sent Jesus to die for your sins!

Beautiful because God calls you His child!

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.  –Psalm 139:13  (NIV)

See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.  –1 John 3:1 (NIV)

He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.  –Ecclesiastes 3:11 (NIV)
